Can students see their result before they send their work?

Written by Sophia

Yes. The student sees the result first. The educator makes the call.

After the questions, the student sees whether their work is ‘validated’ or ‘not validated’, then decides what to do next:

  • ‘Validated’: send it to you, or keep working on it first.

  • ‘Not validated’: go back to drafting and try again, as many times as they like, or send it to you anyway.

You see only the attempt the student chooses to send.

Is there a score? No. Validation is reported as a threshold the student reached or did not. No score is produced.

What do I see that students don't? More detail to help you mark and talk with students: each question and the student's answer, and how Cognitive Command, Authorship Continuity and Human Factors combined to reach the result.

What do students see if their work is not validated? Clear guidance on what to do next: revise and upload their work again, answer the questions again, or send their work to you anyway.
