As an educator, you choose the AI Use Level and Validity Threshold when you link your assignment to Studiosity in your LMS.
The AI Use Level sets how much AI use the task permits. Choose from five levels, based on the Artificial Intelligence Assessment Scale (AIAS), developed by Perkins, Furze, Roe and MacVaugh.
The Validity Threshold sets the level of assurance you need: Essential, Comprehensive or Definitive. Match it to the type of assessment, the learning outcomes, the student cohort and the assurance the task needs.
Validate combines several separate checks, rather than relying on one. It assesses three dimensions: Cognitive Command, through viva-style questions generated from the student's own submission; Authorship Continuity, which compares the submission with the student's writing sample; and Human Factors.
