Study Assist is a new AI-powered assistant, here to help you get started on your assignments, and learn study skills.

It has been designed to help you learn, and you will be guided to get to the answers on your own. You can ask it a question from your Studiosity account anytime, 24/7.

You can trust it. Your university has provided you with this service, and wants you to use it as part of your study routine.

With Studiosity, there is no risk of cheating or plagiarism, because it's always your own work.

Importantly, Studiosity, uses a 'closed system' AI, so you can be confident your work remains your own, and you can ask study questions as many times as you need.

Prompting Tips

  • Provide responses that are more than one word (the more detailed, the better).

  • Focus on one topic at a time. If you want to change the topic, it's best to start a new chat.

  • Be specific. Study Assist is asking for details, so that it can provide you with the most relevant information.

If you’re starting:

Instead of: “Tell me about macroeconomics.”

Try: “Can you suggest how I could get started on my macroeconomics essay. My question is: ‘Analyze the impact of policy on inflation and unemployment in a contemporary economy. Discuss the tools used by banks to influence these economic variables, and evaluate the effectiveness of these tools in achieving macroeconomic stability ’.

When you’re chatting:

If Study Assist asks: “Can you tell me what you tried so far?”

Instead of: “Nothing”

Try: “I haven’t started yet, but I know this is an essay and I need to think of some key points.”
